Exploration Geologist

This is more than just another exploration role. You'll be part of an active drilling campaign, combining hands-on geology with involvement in drill program coordination and execution alongside contractors and field teams.

This contract role is based out of Cairns and will support a 2-3 month exploration drilling program on either a 2/1 or 4/2 roster. The program will include both RC and diamond drilling.

You'll play a key role in the campaign, overseeing geological logging and sampling while assisting with drill program management and contractor coordination. The role offers a mix of field geology and project responsibility, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience beyond traditional exploration duties.

Working closely with drill contractors and the wider technical team, you'll contribute to exploration targeting, data collection and program delivery while ensuring high-quality geological data is captured throughout the campaign.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Tertiary qualification in Geology* Approximately 3+years' industry experience* Experience with RC and/or diamond drilling programs* Strong geological logging and sampling skills* Experience coordinating contractors and field activities* A proactive and organised approach to exploration* Current Australian driver's licence.
