About the Company

Due to increased exploration and resource development activities, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Geologist to join their site team on an initial 2-month contract.

About the Role

Working on a FIFO 9:7 roster, you will support ongoing drilling and geological programs while contributing to resource definition and exploration activities.

Key Responsibilities

Geological logging of RC and diamond drill programs
Core processing, sampling, and QAQC management
Drill planning and supervision of drilling contractors
Geological interpretation and target generation
Data validation and database management
Assisting with geological modelling and reporting
Monitoring sample turnaround and assay results
Working closely with technical services, mining, and exploration teams
Ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with site safety procedures

What You'll Need to Succeed

Degree qualification in Geology
Previous experience working in mining or exploration geology roles
Strong RC and diamond drill logging experience
Understanding of sampling methodologies and QAQC protocols
Experience with geological databases and modelling software
Ability to work independently in a remote site environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Current Australian driver's licence
