Excavator Operator/Dozer Operator

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Excavator and Dozer Operators to support a construction project in the Mount Garnet region. These are long-term opportunities of approximately 6 months for experienced operators who can demonstrate a strong background operating heavy mobile plant on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery on construction sites
• Demonstrate strong safety awareness and commitment to site procedures
• Work long shifts and commit to the 10/4 roster (10 days on / 4 days off)
• Work independently and as part of a team
• For Excavator Operators: final trim experience highly desirable

We have opportunities available for:

• Excavator Operators
• Dozer Operator

These are long-term opportunities of approximately 6 months for experienced operators who can demonstrate a strong background operating heavy mobile plant on construction sites.

The Roster

• 10 days on / 4 days off - Drive In, Drive Out (DIDO)
• 12-hour working days
• Drive back on work time on the final day of the swing
• Travel days are paid at 4 hours, regardless of where you travel from
• Accommodation provided
• Cooking facilities available candidates are required to cook for themselves
• $50/ day meal allowance

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to site procedures
• Reliable and hard-working attitude
• Ability to work long shifts and commit to the 10/4 roster
• Previous final trim experience highly desirable for Excavator Operator position
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Mandatory Requirements

• Current White Card
• LE Class Excavator for Excavator Operators (RIIMPO320F)
• LZ Class Dozer for Dozer Operators (RIIMPO323D)

Available Positions

• Excavator Operators 2 Positions: Experienced Excavator Operators required for construction work. LE Class ticket required. One of the two positions requires demonstrated final trim experience.
• Dozer Operator 1 Position: Experienced Dozer Operator required for construction work. LZ Class ticket required.
