About the Role
Working within a production mining environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of large mining excavators while supporting daily production targets and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mining excavators in a production environment
- Complete pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Load haul trucks safely and efficiently
- Report equipment defects and maintenance requirements
- Work closely with Supervisors and other operators to achieve production targets
- Adhere to all site safety and operational procedures
About You
- Minimum 12 months' mining experience operating large 300t+ excavators
- Experience in production mining environments
- Current RII competencies and/or operating records
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a production crew
