Excavator Operator | Production

The Role

This position will be focused primarily on:

• Operating 3600 and 5600 production excavators
• Exposure to Komatsu Autonomous Haulage systems
• Safe and efficient loading of haul trucks
• Achieving production targets while maintaining high safety standards
• Conducting pre-start inspections and daily equipment checks
• Working closely with supervisors, dispatch, and other production personnel
• Maintaining equipment in accordance with site procedures and reporting requirements
• Contributing to a productive and positive team environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Demonstrated experience operating 3600 and/or 5600 excavators in a production mining environment
• Exposure to Komatsu Autonomous Haulage systems
• Strong understanding of safe mining practices and operational procedures
• Ability to work effectively across day and night shifts
• Valid police clearance or willing to obtain
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable work ethic and commitment to achieving production outcomes
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site requirements
