Excavator Operator - Kalgoorlie Resident

Unite Resourcing are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for a residential mining operation based in Kalgoorlie. This is a great opportunity offering a balanced lifestyle roster with consistent, ongoing work.

What’s on Offer

• $65 per hour
• Approx. 84 hours per week
• $5,460 gross per week
• 7/7 roster – week on / week off
• Dayshift only – no nights
• Residential role – Kalgoorlie locals only (no FIFO)
• Ongoing work with long-term potential

The Role

• Operating Komatsu PC360-11 Excavator
• Picking steel from underground ore piles
• Rock breaking and managing oversize material
• Operating a loader from time to time
• Lifting and managing stockpiles on the ROM to optimise space
• Working in a production-driven ROM environment

Requirements

• Proven experience operating excavators in mining/ROM environments
• Experience with rock breaking and steel picking highly regarded
• Excavator & Loader tickets (essential)
• White Card
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Strong safety focus and site awareness
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Must be a Kalgoorlie resident – no FIFO
