Description & Requirements

Join our Rio Tinto Brockman Syncline 1 Project to be a part of the construction of the primary crusher building, discharge conveyor, transfer station, substations and overland conveyor!

The following experienced construction trades, with strong safety mindset, are required to support ongoing works on a 2:1 roster from all major capital cities through to mid-2027;

• Riggers – Advanced & Intermediate only
• Mechanical Fitters
• Poly Welders
• CN & C1 Crane Operators

What you’ll bring:

• 2 years of demonstrated SMP or structural steel construction experience
• Proof of full working rights in Australia
• Construction white card
• Willing to be clean shaven for respiratory fit testing
• High risk work licence
• Working at heights (3-year validity)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly desirable:

• Rio Tinto inductions & training
• Basic fire training
