Based in Sydney, this role will support a pipeline of major transport infrastructure projects involving largescale rail and road infrastructure, including tunnels, stations and complex electrical systems, shaping the future of NSW’s transport network.

About the role

As a Senior Engineer – Electrical (HV), you’ll support the delivery of high voltage electrical design across major infrastructure projects, ensuring systems are safe, compliant and aligned with project requirements. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and design teams to develop and coordinate HV systems across both early-stage design and ongoing delivery.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to design development, support technical delivery and work across complex rail and infrastructure systems, building your experience on a major project from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support HV electrical design across projects, from concept through to delivery.
• Prepare and review design documentation, calculations and specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated design outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
• Contribute to technical problem solving and continuous improvement.

About you

• Experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer with HV exposure.
• Background in HV design within rail or infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting design and delivery phases on complex projects.
• Knowledge of electrical standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
