EOI: Core Technician & Warehouse Operator

About the Company

Our client is among the world’s top producers of major commodities including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper, and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.

Your new role

• Warehouse Operator
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Receive, unpack, sort and store incoming deliveries
  • Use RF scanners to manage inventory and receive goods
  • Assist with warehouse maintenance and customer enquiries
  • Work independently and as part of a team
• Core Technician
  • Prepare core samples using diamond saws and other equipment
  • Measure and record core sample data for laboratory analysis
  • Photograph and upload sample records to the database
  • Maintain safe work practices and assist with continuous improvement
  • Move and transfer core samples, including forklift operation

What you'll need to succeed

• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Current Forklift Licence
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Safety-focused approach with a willingness to follow procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
