Environmental Advisor

The Role

Join a major greenfield resources project and play a key role in delivering environmental approvals for a significant iron ore development. This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental professional looking to further develop their approvals and regulatory experience while working alongside experienced environmental specialists and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental approval and referral documentation.
• Coordinate technical specialist inputs and supporting studies.
• Assist with environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare stakeholder engagement summaries and regulatory responses.
• Review and quality assure environmental reports and supporting documentation.
• Support compliance with State and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants and regulatory agencies.

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
• Experience in environmental approvals, environmental management, impact assessment or a similar field.
• Strong technical writing and document preparation skills.
• Understanding of environmental assessment and approval processes in Australia.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
