Environmental Advisor

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Environmental, the Environmental Advisor supports the delivery and continuous improvement of the site Environmental Management System.

This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to environmental monitoring, compliance, rehabilitation and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring the operation meets its regulatory and sustainability obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement site environmental monitoring programs
• Collect, validate and manage environmental data and reporting
• Supervise contractors to ensure safety, performance and cost outcomes
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across site
• Promote environmental standards, policies and best practice
• Support approvals, land access and heritage-related activities
• Assist with rehabilitation programs and environmental initiatives

About You

You are a proactive environmental professional with a strong commitment to compliance, continuous improvement and teamwork.

You will bring:

• A tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related field
• Experience in environmental monitoring and compliance
• Strong data management and reporting skills
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across site
• A practical, solutions-focused approach
