Engineering Support Specialist

About the Role:

As an Engineering Support Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of delivering engineered solutions, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders, and contributing to business growth through technical expertise, problem solving and customer focused outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to work across engineering, operations, sales and project delivery while using practical experience and helping shape solutions that make a difference.

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical engineering support and innovative solutions to internal and external stakeholders across mining and industrial operations.
• Lead and support reliability, condition monitoring and technical investigation activities, helping customers maximise asset performance and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to engineering projects throughout the full lifecycle, from design and development through to installation, testing, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Operations and Sales teams to solve customer challenges, identify process improvements and deliver commercially practical engineering solutions that create value and competitive advantage. Travel to operational sites to support engineering activities in the field.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Experience in the Mining and Materials Handling Industry.
• Experience in rubber-related QA/QC activities.
• Mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A basic understanding of project delivery and/or management principles.
• Good relationship-building and communication skills - both written and spoken.
• Technical/commercial writing skills.
• Desire to complete a variety of tasks and responsibilities to grow your ability and skills.
• Experience in preparation of business cases, proposals and reports.
• Proven track record of being able to liaise effectively with people at all levels within and external to the organisation.
