About the Role

Civmec is expanding across major construction projects throughout Western Australia, and we’re seeking skilled Engineers Electrical Senior to join our growing Construction division. These long term opportunities span multiple sites, where you’ll support the planning, coordination, and technical delivery of major structural, mechanical, and piping works. We offer 2:1 FIFO and DIDO rosters, working within high performing teams committed to safety, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring project construction activities within the electrical scope are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications. Managing electrical and instrumentation engineering / technical queries on site
  • Liaise with Internal and Client E&I leadership to resolve technical challenges on site
  • Assist with MTO’s and procurement tasks for E&I goods and services
  • Prepare work packs, method statements and other construction related information in a timely manner as required to support the work schedule
  • Investigate and resolve engineering technical related problems and provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
  • Understand and implement quality control techniques
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
  • Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested

About You

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering
  • Previous project experience on major construction projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or equivalent tools meets the competency requirements for the completion system.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise technical reports and documents
  • Experience working within a multi-discipline project team and focus on building effective relationships and influencing stakeholders
