Job Purpose
Engage in the development of engineering designs and associated activities as requested by the line Manager including WHS activities, systems assurance, risk management, competency, requirement management, procurement, installation, Test and Commissioning, and site supervision
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the output associated with nominated engineering discipline.
Responsible for completing assigned activities meeting time and quality expectations
Assist in developing interfaces
Prepare detailed designs and other documentation.
Complete and manage personal competency records
Identification and resolution of issues related to design
Undertake work in accordance with the appropriate procedures and standards.
Participate in design reviews
Initiate Design Changes and submit to Manager for assessment
Participate in equipment installation, including site supervision of installation teams
Assist in test and commissioning activities
Interface with client engineering staff where requested
Develop accurate bill of materials
Develop designs in accordance with requirements
Participate in System Assurance activities including workshops and completion of registers
Qualifications
5 years of relevant engineering experience in design for telecommunication projects.
Bachelor engineering qualification (or Associate Diploma with more extensive experience).
