The opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced Employee Development Lead to join our Energy and Utilities business, working within our People and Culture Talent and Development team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Learning and Development, this role is responsible for driving workforce capability and performance across the business. You will align business strategy, workforce insights and market trends to deliver clear development pathways, measurable performance outcomes and leader led capability building.
This is a highly influential role where you will partner closely with operational leaders to build capability at all levels and embed practical, scalable approaches to development, performance and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing development pathways, capability frameworks and performance approaches aligned to business needs
- Proven ability to translate workforce data, engagement insights and market trends into targeted development and performance initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and partner with leaders across a diverse and dispersed workforce
- Experience embedding leader led development, coaching and performance conversations into day to day operations
- A strong understanding of learning and development, employee engagement and people and culture practices in operational environments
- Experience working within large, matrixed organisations
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to create simple, scalable and practical solutions
- Bachelor qualifications in Adult Education, Organisational Psychology, Human Resources or a related discipline
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar employee development or capability focused role
