About the role
This role will support will be responsible for carrying out the installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across various projects both above surface and underground at Olympic Dam.
Key Responsibilities
· 13:8 Roster
· DIDO or Locally living at Roxby Downs.
· Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian Standards, BCA, Local Ordinances and other relevant codes and standards.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and drawings.
· Installation and maintenance of underground electrical systems.
· Fault finding and troubleshooting across plant and equipment.
· Ensuring compliance with site safety standards and procedures.
· Working collaboratively with site teams to meet operational targets.
Skills and Experience
· Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
· Valid SA PGE Licence
· Underground mine site experience (preferred)
· BHP Olympic Dam site experience (highly regarded)
· Valid driver’s licence.
· Construction industry white card.
· Working at Heights & Confined Space (highly regarded).
