Electricians – 2:1 FIFO | Long-Term Project | Hope Downs 1 | $6,720/week
Techforce is currently partnering with a leading Electrical Contractor who has secured a major scope of work at Hope Downs 1. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking 10 experienced Electricians for long-term FIFO opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on a flagship Rio Tinto WA mining project.
Brief Details:
- Pay Rate - $ 80.00 per hour flat rate
- 12-hour paid working days
- 2:1 Permanent fixed Days Roster
- Electrical Mining Installation Project
- Long-term ongoing work
- Flying from Perth Airport Only
- Start/Mobe Dates - 30th March or 6th Of April
Tickets & Licenses Required:
- Electrical Workers Competency, ARC Flash & RTIO Low Voltage Rescue
- IWP Essentials & Lockholder Theory
- RTIO Essentials for Site
- SAP Number / Pegasus ID
- WA Electrical License - Full unrestricted License
- LVR & CPR - within 12 months
- First Aid - Within 2 years
- Working at heights - within 2 years
- HRWL EWP - 11m + above - within 2 years
- First fire attack - or equivalent - within 2 years
- USI number
- Drivers License
- Trade Certificate
- White/Construction Card
- Confined space - within 2 years
Work Experience Required - Three or more of the following:
- Proven experience in electrical mining installations, construction projects, or NPI works
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience working across one or multiple Rio Tinto sites (highly regarded), direct or through a contractor
Hands-on experience with:
- Cable pulling
- Conduit installation
- Cable tray and ladder installation
Experience working on:
- MCCs (Motor Control Centres)
- Switchrooms and switchboards
- Lighting installations
Installation and commissioning of:
- Generators
- Water pumps
