Due to ongoing growth across surface operations, we are seeking experienced Mining Electricians to join the team.

About the Role

You will be working as part of the Surface Electrical Department, you’ll be responsible for keeping critical infrastructure within a mineral processing plant running safely and efficiently. Every day will bring variety. Your duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Maintain, fault find, repair and commission fixed plant electrical systems within a mineral processing plant environment
• Ensure statutory compliance when maintaining fixed electrical infrastructure in accordance with Queensland mining legislation and site standards
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, pumps, mills and associated plant
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise unplanned downtime and support production targets

This position offers an 8/6 day shift roster , FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane .

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll need to succeed

You will succeed in this role if you bring:

• A current QLD Electrical Licence
• Current LVR/CPR
• Fixed Plant Experience is desired
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to complete a police check , pre-employment medical , and drug & alcohol screening
