Komatsu is seeking a skilled HV Electrician to join our high-performing Customer Support team. In this role, you’ll deliver expert maintenance and technical support on our industry-leading equipment while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction are at the forefront.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting Komatsu machinery, minimising downtime and delivering high-quality service to our customers across the Central Queensland region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Komatsu equipment.
• Analyse onboard systems and troubleshoot faults.
• Complete detailed service reports (complaint, cause, correction).
• Work closely with internal teams to plan and execute maintenance.
• Maintain strong safety standards and compliance.

**Role Located:**Rockhampton orGladstone

Travel: North Bundaberg to Clark Creek - visiting multiple mine sites and customer sites

Roster: 7:7 day shift only (Wed to Tues)

What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification as an Electrical Fitter / HV Electrician with current licence.
• Proven experience in HV electrical maintenance on Komatsu Products.
• Current Switch Licence.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Commitment to safety and working in high-risk environments.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

• Experience with Komatsu equipment or electric drive trucks**.**
• Exposure to mining or heavy industry environments.

You will be required to obtain a coal board medical and S11 certification.
