Our Client, a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry, are currently seeking an Electrician to join their Naval Base site on an ongoing basis.

The Role:
This role will see you tasked with repairing and performing breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment and switchboards. You will also be required to complete the following duties:

  • Scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on emergency lighting, switchboards, and electrical equipment
  • Testing and tagging of equipment in accordance with regulations
  • Regular reporting on activities and project tracking

Requirements:

  • Relevant Trade qualifications
  • Relevant experience in this field
  • Current Drivers Licence with own transport
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

Role Specifics:
The position has an attractive hourly rate of $59.12 per hour + penalties applicable after 40 hours worked + super. You will also receive an additional $50 per fortnight allowance for holding your electrical licence.  

You will be required to work 4 days per week for 10-hour shifts and once established, there is an opportunity of working on-call if desired which attracts additional income. 10-hour shifts with a mixture of day shifts & afternoons. (6:00am to 4:30pm), afternoon shifts (2:30pm to 1:30am) and optional overtime on Saturdays.
