Techforce Personnel are currently seeking experienced Electricians with HV Termination and Substation experience to join a major 330/33kV substation construction project in New South Wales, commencing late August to early September.

About the Role

Working as part of the construction team, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of primary and secondary electrical equipment
• High Voltage cable installation and terminations
• Earthing system installation
• Protection and control system installation
• Equipment fit-out and assembly
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
• Testing and commissioning support
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards on site

About You / Requirements

• Current Electrical Licence
• Proven experience performing HV cable terminations
• Previous substation construction experience
• Experience working on transmission substations (132kV–330kV)
• Exposure to utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Experience with primary and secondary systems
• Strong understanding of protection and control systems
• Ability to work effectively within a project team environment

Tickets & Qualifications

• Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Construction White Card
• EWP Licence (highly regarded)
• Working at Heights
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Current Driver's Licence
• HV Authorisations and competencies highly regarded
