Electrician - Bellevue

About the Role

As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Underground Electrician to join the team on a full-time basis, working an 8/6 - 7/7 FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

• Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical systems, including power, lighting, and control circuits
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical issues to minimise downtime and keep operations running safely
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on underground equipment
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, procedures, and electrical standards
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to support daily production and maintenance activities
• Complete job documentation, reports, and isolation procedures accurately and on time

Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes

• Previous experience working as an electrician in an underground mining environment
• Trade qualification as an Electrician (or equivalent)
• Current Electrical License
• High voltage switching certificate (within 2 years is desirable)
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
