About the Role

Techforce is currently seeking experienced Rail Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established rail maintenance team working across Melbourne's rail network.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on a consistent 4 days on, 3 days off night shift roster, offering excellent work-life balance while working on critical rail infrastructure.

The Role

As a Rail Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Locomotives and electrical systems across rail infrastructure to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the network.

Duties include

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Track Grinding
• Maintenance of signalling support equipment, switchboards, lighting and electrical infrastructure
• Testing and commissioning of electrical systems
• Working safely within rail corridors and live operational environments
• Completing maintenance documentation and reports

Requirements

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
• Previous experience in rail maintenance or heavy industrial maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Current White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Commitment to safe work practices
