Your New Company

This privately operated site near Dajarra is part of a growing phosphate mining project focused on safe and efficient mineral processing. Due to increased operational demand, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team.

Your New Role

This is a hands-on, all-rounder role suited to someone who enjoys working across both processing and site infrastructure in a smaller operation. This role is on a 8/6 roster Day shift only, FIFO Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane 12 hour shifts. Your responsibilities will include the below but not limited to

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems across both processing and non-processing infrastructure
  • Conduct fault finding, testing, and repairs on fixed plant equipment
  • Assist with general plant operations alongside operator maintainers when required
  • Participate in daily pre-start checks of the crushing circuit
  • Support broader site activities including camp maintenance, housekeeping, and general repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Current Electrical Trade Qualification (Electrician)
  • Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Current CPR / LVR
  • Ability to pass a mine site medical
  • Mining experience preferred
