Electrical Technician – Power Generation | 2:2 Roster | $160K–$180K + Super
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the energy and power generation sector, seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role working on critical power infrastructure with excellent earning potential and work-life balance.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working on energy / power generation sites
- Hands-on experience with Jenbacher gas engines (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics
- Experience with control systems, PLCs, and power generation equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads autonomously
- Strong commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical maintenance, servicing, and fault finding on power generation equipment
- Working on and supporting Jenbacher gas engines and associated systems
- Diagnosing faults across electrical and control systems
- Ensuring reliability and performance of plant equipment
- Working autonomously while adhering to strict safety standards
