Monadelphous Mining & Minerals Southern region are looking for a new Electrical Supervisor to join us on our long term maintenance and operational contract at the Muja Power Station. The successful candidate will see themselves managing and maintaining the electrical and instrumentation work scope across the coal plant, ensuring all works are carried out safely and to the highest quality. You will also be assisting the maintenance team with planning and compliance tasks associated with isolating and issuing permits. This is a Local DIDO role, working 10 hours a day for 4 days per week. Monadelphous encourages female and first nations candidates to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the electrical workforce on the coal plant
  • Work alongside the site Superintendent on planning and execution decisions
  • Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standard
  • Advise on best work practices involved with E&I
  • Prepare electrical work reports and clear instructions for the operational crew

What you’ll bring:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years within a supervisory role
  • A WA electrical trade and certified electrical license
  • Sound computer skills in Microsoft suite
  • Clear understanding of HSE practices and controls
  • Strong people management skills
  • Up to date tickets in; LVR/CPR, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift License
  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation and High Voltage is desirable
