About the Role

Our mining client is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their manufacturing workshop, situated approx. 30 minutes north of Perth CBD.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing personnel and projects from production to testing, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:**

• Oversee personnel and equipment requirements to ensure suitable availability on a day-to-day basis
• Support job costing, quotes and invoicing for workshop and site-based jobs
• Oversee testing, assembly, and commissioning of electrical components or systems
• Maintain and manage workshop tools, machinery, and inventory
• Enforce safety protocols and best practices for workshop operations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices
• Develop work programs and technical specifications and provide cost estimates

What you'll Need:**

• Electrical Trade Certificate
• Demonstrated Supervisory experience
• Proven experience in workshop operations
• Underground hard rock mining electrical manufacturing experience
• Excellent understanding of electrical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and compliance
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience managing budget, inventory, and workshop resources
