Description & Requirements

Zenviron is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of large scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley.

This is a hands on leadership role where you’ll coordinate and supervise on site electrical works, lead crews and subcontractors, and work closely with project teams to deliver safe, high quality outcomes across critical major BESS projects in the Latrobe Valley.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Plan, allocate and coordinate daily work activities for electrical crews and subcontractors
• Supervise, coach and mentor team members, ensuring competency and compliance with scope and standards.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered in line with project requirements, schedules and specifications.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, always ensuring compliance with Zenviron and site safety requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 4 years site base Supervisory experience within the substation, renewable energy or construction industry.
• An Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate and Licence.
• Demonstrable experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or experience in Substation construction, including installation, testing and commissioning of high voltage electrical work (highly regarded).
• Strong ability to manage time to achieve tight deadlines.
• Experience in effective planning, scheduling, budgets, variations, management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements.
• Excellent written and technical skills and a confident user of MS Office Suite.
• An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Driven commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.

To be successful in this role you will require well-developed interpersonal skills to assist you in building effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, whilst you will demonstrate a team orientated approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement.
