About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of critical plant electrical systems. Working closely with maintenance and operations teams, you will:
- Provide technical support for fixed plant assets including crushers, conveyors, and processing infrastructure
- Develop and optimise maintenance strategies and asset management plans
- Conduct fault-finding and root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability
- Support shutdown planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and statutory requirements
- Contribute to plant upgrades, projects, and efficiency improvements
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience within mining or heavy industrial fixed plant environments
- Strong understanding of electrical systems including MV/LV, motors, PLCs, and instrumentation
- Experience in maintenance and reliability engineering practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Exposure to CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto
