Your new role

  • Managing the full project lifecycle from planning through to delivery and close-out
  • Delivering multiple concurrent electrical capital projects with strong control of safety, scope, cost, schedule and quality
  • Planning and executing work within live operating environments, including shutdowns and constrained outage windows
  • Coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning activities
  • Managing interfaces across multiple disciplines, contractors and vendors
  • Maintaining robust project governance, reporting and documentation
  • Supporting contractor engagement, performance management and contract administration
  • Providing visible safety leadership and ensuring compliance with standards and procedures
  • Ensuring projects are safely handed over with complete, accurate documentation and no residual risks

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering projects across the full project lifecycle
  • Strong background delivering electrical-focused projects, including design, site execution and commissioning
  • Experience in brownfield mining, heavy industry or asset-intensive environments
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams in parallel
  • Strong execution planning and contractor coordination capability
  • High commitment to safety, quality and compliance
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Well-developed organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Exposure to control systems, MCCs, DBs and fixed plant electrical infrastructure
  • Experience with asset obsolescence management and life-extension projects
