About the Role
- Managing the full project life cycle from planning through to delivery and close-out
- Delivering multiple concurrent electrical capital projects with strong control of safety, scope, cost, schedule and quality
- Planning and executing works within live operating environments, including shutdowns and constrained outage windows.
- Coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning activities
- Managing interfaces across multiple disciplines, contractors and vendors
- Maintaining robust project governance, reporting and documentation
- Supporting contractor engagement, performance management and contract administration
- Providing visible safety leadership and ensuring compliance with standards and procedures
- Ensuring projects are safely handed over with complete, accurate documentation and no residual risks
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience delivering projects across the full project life cycle
- Strong background delivering electrical-focused projects, including design, site execution and commissioning
- Experience in brownfield mining, heavy industry or asset-intensive environments
- Ability to manage multiple work streams in parallel
- Strong execution planning and contractor coordination capability
- High commitment to safety, quality and compliance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Well-developed organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Exposure to control systems, MCCs, DBs and fixed plant electrical infrastructure
- Experience with asset obsolescence management and life-extension projects
