About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Maintainer – Mine Water Management / Dewateringfor a residential or FIFO opportunity at our Robe Vally mining operation. This role is a great opportunity for safety conscious individuals looking to continually improve and contribute to our culture and world class asset.

You’ll be part of a friendly and high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work an 8 days on, 6 offwhich will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.

Reporting to the Mine Water Management Supervisor, you will:

  • Installing, testing and maintaining dewatering pumps and bores

  • Attend to gen set breakdowns

  • Carrying out

  • Installing, testing and maintaining dewatering pumps and bores
  • Attend to gen set breakdowns
  • Carrying out general scheduled electrical dewatering maintenance
  • Installing and servicing submersible and sump pumps
  • Maintaining statutory electrical inspections

What you’ll bring

  • West Australian “A” Grade Electrical License
  • A Manual C-class Australian driver’s licence (HR desirable)

Where you’ll be working

Robe Valley Operations, located on Robe River Kuruma Country, is close to the community of Pannawonica in the scenic Pilbara region, approximately 200km south-west of Karratha. The operation comprises two key sites: Mesa A, which is primarily fly-in-fly-out, and Mesa J, which is strongly supported by a residential workforce living in Pannawonica.
