Electrical Maintainer

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled and planned maintenance to improve reliability and performance of fixed plant equipment
• Responding to breakdowns and performing component change-outs as required
• Undertaking fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical faults
• Identifying and reporting issues related to plant assets, practices, and procedures
• Accurately recording maintenance activities using SAP
• Identifying opportunities for equipment and process improvement
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in compliance with the Mines Safety Inspection Regulations Act

What You’ll Bring

• A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Electrical Trade Qualification with an unrestricted WA A‑Grade Electrical Licence
• Demonstrated experience with Fixed Plant equipment, including ship loaders, screens, reclaimers, stackers, crushers, and conveyors
• Strong fault‑finding skills and the ability to interpret electrical schematics
• A current manual C Class driver’s licence
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A positive, proactive, and “can‑do” attitude
• Be reliable, self‑motivated, and shutdown‑ready
• MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) or ability to obtain one
• Clean police clearance

Highly Regarded

• High Voltage (HV) Switching qualification
• Exposure to maintenance management systems, particularly SAP
