Description & Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems
• Conduct diagnostics, fault finding, and troubleshooting of control systems, PLCs, and SCADA interfaces.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings for instrumentation and control systems.
• Work with field sensors, transmitters, actuators, and control loops to maintain system accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports on maintenance activities and system performance

What you will bring

• Electrical or Instrumentation trade certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in E&I Maintenance
• Strong knowledge of turbine control systems, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems
• Experience with calibration, loop testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation devices including the use of Beamex calibration equipment.
• Understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and VFD's.
• Ability to work in hazardous environments (e.g., LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical) and follow safety regulations.
• Familiarity with OEM systems (Baker Hughes, GE, Solar, etc.) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• EEHA Qualifications (within the last 5 years)
• Current Electrical License
• LVR CPR within 12 months
• Certificate III / IV Instrumentation & Control
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Proof of right to work in Australia
