Mader Group

Western Australia

Job Description

Proudly awarded finalists for 'Large Business of the Year' 2025 by WA Business Awards and 'Employer of Choice' by Australian HR Awards 2024. Become part of a company that puts YOU first!

Mader Group is a leading heavy equipment maintenance provider powered by mechanically minded specialists. With over 3,900 employees worldwide, we're passionate about maintenance and dedicated to helping our mining and civil customers hit targets daily through optimal fleet and plant performance.

About the role

Due to continued growth, Mader is seeking E&I Technicians to join our FIFO Rostered Maintenance Crews. We've got a variety of 2/2, 8/6 and 2/1 rosters coming up across the Pilbara, Goldfields, South West and Northern Territory.

This is a mostly a FIFO role ex. Perth. Interstate candidates are still encouraged to apply.

The work you'll get stuck into

  • Fault-finding and diagnostics on Fixed Plant mining equipment, the kind of troubleshooting that keeps your brain switched on
  • Maintenance and repairs across crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps and more
  • HV isolations and switching to support the crew safely through their work
  • Instrumentation work for those who love getting into the detail, including calibrations, loop checks, sensors and control systems
  • Breakdown support where your problem-solving makes a real difference to production
  • Preventative maintenance that keeps the plant running at its best

HV Switching or Cert IV Instrumentation? Either gets you in the door.

We're looking for sparkies who hold HV Switching or a Cert IV in Instrumentation. Both is a bonus, but you don't need both to apply.

The instrumentation side of the role is where things get interesting for techs who genuinely enjoy troubleshooting and want to deepen their technical knowledge. If you've got one ticket and you're keen to broaden your skillset into the other, that's the kind of conversation we love having.

Our culture is built on developing our people and helping them shape the career they actually want, and we're big believers in growing the experience and exposure of our crews over time.

If you've already got both, even better. You'll step straight into work that uses every part of your trade.

What you'll need

  • WA Electrical Licence
  • Drivers Licence
  • First Aid, CPR and LVR
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
  • National Police Check (within 3 to 6 months, or willing to obtain)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Solid commitment to safety and quality
  • A professional, motivated attitude, ready to become part of the Mader family
