About Our Client

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.

What you will be Doing

You will be operating heavy machinery whilst training, assessing, and mentoring personnel to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency for Haul Trucks in a production environment.

Operating CAT 793 & 797 Haul Trucks
Working in Prestrip - Loaded by Electric Rope Shovels
Experience single side, double side loading and self spotting
Conducting pre-start checks and reporting maintenance issues
Maintaining high safety standards and contributing to team performance
Training, assessing and mentoring personnel

What you will need

Experience operating minimum CAT 793 Haul Trucks, single side, double side loading and self spotting
Experience operating Haul Trucks being loaded by Excavators
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
Strong safety focus and teamwork skills
