Dump Truck Operator – Bowen Basin QLD

Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for an open-cut coal operation in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. If you’re chasing consistent work, strong hourly rates, and a genuine 7/7 lifestyle roster, this is a great long-term opportunity.

What you’ll be doing

• Operating CAT 793 & CAT 797 rigid haul trucks
• Prestrip operations
• Working under excavators, shovels, loaders and scrapers
• Following site HSE, SOPs and safety systems
• Meeting production targets in a high-volume mining environment

Roster & site details

• 7/7 rotating day/night roster(Thursday to Wednesday)
• DIDO / BIBO / local applicants preferred – limited FIFO capacity available
• Bowen Basin QLD
• Accommodation, meals and PPE supplied
• Long-term ongoing casual role
• Positions across A/C & B/D crews

Pay & benefits

• $81.14 per hour casual (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
• Bonus incentive: $288
• Immediate start available
• Well-established site with a strong safety culture

What you’ll need

• Demonstrated experience in open-cut coal mining (QLD)
• Proven operating experience on CAT 793 & CAT 797
• Experience working under shovel/excavator/loader
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Standard 11(preferred)
• Current Coal Board Medical(preferred)
• Signed training transcripts showing machine hours
• Full Australian working rights
