Dump Truck Operator

About the Role

You will be working as part of an experienced production mining team, safely operating haul trucks across an established open-pit iron ore operation.

Duties

• Operating large mining haul trucks safely and efficiently
• Completing production haulage activities within an open-pit environment
• Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting equipment defects
• Working closely with supervisors, dispatch and other mobile plant operators
• Maintaining strong safety, productivity and operational standards

What we’re looking for

• Proven Dump Truck Operator experience in open-pit production mining
• Strong safety awareness and positive attitude
• Ability to work a 2/1 day and night shift roster
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
