Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of building and construction materials and is currently seeking an experienced Dump Station Operator to join their team based in Perth's eastern suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated operator looking for stable, ongoing employment with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting production operations and ensuring the efficient movement and processing of raw materials throughout the site.
Details
- This position will see you working both indoors & outdoors
- Monday – Friday Roster
- 6:00am -2:00pm with Potential overtime
- $46.60 p/h + penalties after 7.6 hours worked
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating fixed plant equipment
- Operating front-end loaders and skid steers
- Feeding raw materials into crushing plant
- General housekeeping and labouring duties
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
- Current Loader Ticket and proven front-end loader operating experience
- Current Skid Steer Ticket and operating experience
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle for transport to and from site
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor industrial environment
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Forklift Licence highly regarded but not essential
- Permanent Australian residency or unrestricted Australian working rights (no Working Holiday Visa holders)
