We are currently seeking experienced Dual Trade E&I Technicians / Electricians for an ongoing opportunity with a leading mining operation in North West Queensland.

An internationally recognised mining company operating one of Queensland's largest underground mining operations is seeking experienced Dual Trade E&I Technicians / Electricians to join their maintenance team on an ongoing basis.
Your new role
- As a Dual Trade E&I Technician / Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining the Reliability and safety of electrical and instrumentation systems across the Site. Working on an 8/6 day shift roster (night shift as required), your Responsibilities will include
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Fault finding and troubleshooting across instrumentation, control and electrical systems
- Carrying out repairs, installations, servicing and commissioning activities
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime
- Supporting surface maintenance operations
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection records
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Dual Trade Electrical & Instrumentation qualification preferred
- Qualified Electrician with hazardous area experience as a minimum
- 3-5 years' experience in mining or heavy industry
- Process plant maintenance experience
- Experience with HV switchgear, motor controls, VSDs, PLCs and process control instrumentation
- Hazardous Area experience highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and statutory compliance
