About the Role

Based out of our Seven Hills branch, this permanent full-time Driver role is often the face of Coates and requires exceptional customer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.
  • Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
  • Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray (e.g., boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts).
  • Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard.

About You / Requirements

  • A valid Heavy Vehicle driver's license. (EWP and Tilt tray licences, CV or under 10ton crane VOC are highly regarded)
  • Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint
  • A clean driving record and a commitment to the importance of safety – you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
  • Reliable customer service skills
  • Adequate technology skills
  • Knowledge of correct manual handling
