About the Role

You’ll be working across Newman Operations, which is made up of several deposits and contributes to the overall ore production of Newman Operations. The roster for our Drill & Blast team follows a schedule of 4 days, 4 nights, 8 off pattern, featuring 12-hour shifts. This arrangement provides an excellent work-life balance by allowing more time at home.​ This position is available on a FIFO or residential basis.

The 7,000 strong population of Newman enjoys well-established town facilities including a newly revitalised town centre and sporting facilities. As a gateway to the Karijini national park, you will be in close proximity to spectacular gorges, water courses and stunningly unique landscapes.​

Our Drill & Blast teams are currently seeking applications from experienced Drillers. Machines we operate onsite include;

About You

Ideal candidates will be team focused with a safety-first mindset, complemented by strong communication skills and the drive to succeed. A commitment to continuous improvement, along with experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues, will be highly regarded. Key requirements include:​

• Full, valid class C driver’s licence
• Team-oriented mindset aimed at achieving results
• Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and enthusiasm for skill development
