• Location: Townsville, Queensland
• Start Date: Immediate start
• Pay Rate: $47.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Casual
• Duration: Approximately 6 months
• Roster: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 10-hour shifts

About the Role

The role involves operating DPI/Sandvik drilling equipment within a quarry environment and supporting safe and efficient drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate DPI/Sandvik drilling equipment
• Complete drilling activities safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-starts and equipment checks
• Follow site procedures and drill plans
• Maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping
• Assist with general drilling duties as required

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Demonstrated drilling experience essential
• Experience operating DPI/Sandvik equipment desirable
• Quarry, mining or drill and blast experience desirable
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current White Card mandatory

Medical & PPE

• Full medical required as per contract
• Hi-vis shirts
• Hard hat and brim
• Safety boots
