This role would ideally suit someone who has a positive attitude towards safety, training & environment. Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork.

Both full-time and casual positions available. Local to Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth. Roster is a combination 8:6 day shift & 7/7 night shifts

The role

• Performing scheduled drill servicing across; Custom Built High Reach Drill Rigs on Kato Crane Chassis, Sandvik DX800R Remote Control Drill Rigs, Vermeer Directional Drills and Manitou MTX-1840-A Telehandlers Work Platforms
• Performing unscheduled repairs
• Maintaining and servicing ancillary light vehicles, LV trailers, heavy support trucks, mobile air compressors, shotcrete & grout machines
• Technical guidance & field service support to operations personnel
• Training & support to other SRG employees
• Liaison with OEM’s & suppliers on technical issues and parts requisitions
• Onhire / Offhire Inspections of Equipment

The successful applicant will have

• HR Divers Licence
• AUR31220 - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
• MEM30219 - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade; or MEM31419 - Certificate III in Engineering - Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic
• A working knowledge of Sandvik and Epiroc top hammer drilling equipment
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
