About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join a Tier 1 mining company on an 8/6 – 7/7 Roster. This role is ideal for a skilled Drill fitter with strong diagnostic and field service experience across pumps and mechanical equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving asset reliability through planned and breakdown maintenance, defect identification, and continuous improvement initiatives within a structured maintenance management environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on mechanical assets and equipment including Sandvik and Cat ND
• Performing diagnostics and fault finding on trailer pumps and water pumps
• Completing field service maintenance activities and breakdown support
• Identifying equipment defects and raising notifications/work orders within the asset management system
• Supporting defect elimination and reliability improvement initiatives
• Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed safely and in line with work instructions
• Conducting post-maintenance testing, commissioning, and clean-up activities
• Contributing to maintenance analysis and asset performance reviews

About You

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within mining, heavy industry, or field services
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on pumps and associated mechanical equipment
• Sound understanding of maintenance management systems and work order processes
