About the Role

A commitment to zero harm, teamed with high work standards and respect for others is fundamental to our high-performance culture. This role will appeal to those who have excellent Shotfirer Blast Crew skills and to those who wish to work within a proactive and productive team.

An opportunity has arisen at our Saraji Mine for experienced Shotfirers to join our team.

About You

• Minimum 5 years experience working within the blasting industry
• Proven experience operating MPU’s utilising auger and hose delivered products
• Proven experience stringing in electronic shots
• Hold a current Queensland Shotfirer licence
• Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence
• Motivated, enthusiastic individual who shows initiative and can work with minimal supervision
• Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
• Trainer and Assessor qualifications will be highly regarded
