The opportunity:

Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our Drill & Blast Crew on our high-performing Eva Copper Mine Project, in the Cloncurry region of Queensland, Australia.

Set to become the largest copper mine in Northwest Queensland, the Eva Copper Mine is an iron oxide copper gold resource located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People, approximately 75km north of Cloncurry and 95km north-east of Mount Isa.

We are building a high-performing team and are seeking operators across a range of talent:

• Pump Crew
• MPU Operators
• Shotfirers
• Bench Hands

This is an opportunity to join a landmark project from the ground up.

About you:

• Minimum of 1 year of prior working experience in a mining environment / Drill & Blast Crew
• Current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Current Drivers Licence
• Valid qualifications, certifications and/or signed transcripts (position dependent)
• A commitment to a positive safety culture
