About the Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dragline equipment while contributing to production targets and site safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dragline equipment in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and identify equipment defects.
- Maintain high housekeeping and equipment care standards.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams.
- Contribute to safe, productive and efficient mining operations.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance.
About You
- Proven experience operating draglines in an open-cut coal mining environment.
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain).
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Strong safety focus and positive team approach.
- Experience operating Marion 8050, BE1370 or similar draglines highly regarded.
- Additional experience on Dozers, Cable Tractors or Graders will be viewed favourably.
