HumeLink West Project
Two CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the 130km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.
HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia’s eastern states. HumeLink is one of Australia’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.
The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning 130kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
Please note this role will be based in our Project office in Haymarket, Sydney.
What will a day in this role look like:
- Control the identification, registration, distribution, and retention of all project documentation.
- Ensure approved document control procedures and protocols are consistently applied
- Provide instruction and guidance to team members on document control procedures, as required
- Maintain document tracking registers
- Coordinate the distribution of client comments and subsequent responses
- Upload design documents to the clients Electronic Document Management System (ProjectWise)
- Provide support and input to monthly reporting

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a document control role
- Experience with Ineight (Teambinder), Sharepoint and ProjectWise.
- Knowledge of Power BI set up would be highly regarded
- Previous experience in document control on major construction/infrastructure projects
- A good standard of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
