We have an enticing Dispatch Operator position awaiting you at our iconic KCGM Superpit, that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed team on the convenience of an 7/7 days and nights Kalgoorlie residential roster.

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Being responsible and accountable for the optimal and efficient fleet management in order to execute the 24hr mine plan. Undertaking all controller roles in efficiently running the manned fleet.
  • Working within a high pressurized office-based environment, monitoring the telephone, radio and dispatch system and deal with ad hoc duties.
  • The Dispatch Operator will also provide leadership and direction to the various equipment operators to ensure that the business and mine plan objectives are met and consistently achieved, according to hse policies.
  • Being accountable for the interaction with mine site operations in supporting the decision making process of the Wenco system and cost reduction initiatives in line with Site KPI’s.
  • Displaying a clear commitment to safety and health, and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment. Ensuring blasting notifications are completed, Monitoring lightning activity,

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Qualifications: Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence.

Desired Experience & Competencies: Minimum of two (2) years experienced with Fleet Management systems such as Wenco or similar at advanced user level. Intermediate knowledge and experience of load and haul processes, overall mining sequences and with heavy machinery. Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite applications and database programs. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels (both written and verbal). Ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice in all geological and environmental tasks.
